Currently, CLIVES has three available models: M3, M4, and M6 . Below, we will explain how to upgrade these devices.

We release software updates at a frequency of one version every 1-2 months. In after-sales support, many users encounter upgrade issues, so here we summarize the steps and important notes for upgrading.

Upgrading the motorcycle diagnostic tool is very simple, just like copying files to a USB drive. Below, we will explain the process and precautions step by step:

1. Download the Software Package You can download the latest software package from the official website,clives.cn. Please ensure you download using a PC, as the upgrade process must also be done via PC.

   In the header menu on the website, there is a "Download" option. Under the "Software" category, select the desired software, such as M3-A-Asia, M4-Asia-EU. Here, the prefixes (M3-A, M4-Asia) indicate the model, while the suffixes (-Asia and -EU) differentiate the language packages. Currently, due to the large size of the software packages for M3 and M4, we have had to split the language packages by region.

   • Asia includes: Chinese, English, Traditional Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese.
   • EU includes: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Turkish, Italian, Russian, Polish.

   Note: The downloaded file is a compressed package that needs to be extracted to obtain the 'DIAGNOSE' folder.

2. Connect the Device to the PC Use the USB data cable provided by us to connect the diagnostic tool to the PC. It is recommended to use the provided cable to avoid any additional issues.

   After connecting to the PC, an upgrade mode interface will appear. Do not click OK; stay on this screen. The PC will recognize the device as a disk drive, similar to connecting a USB drive. This is where the software package should be placed.

3. Replace the New Software Package Delete the 'DIAGNOSE' folder in the root directory of the device's disk and replace it with the new 'DIAGNOSE' folder obtained from the download. Make sure not to change the folder name.
